About Marlene's Community Connections

I created Marlene’s Community Connections, because I know what it’s like to have to figure things out alone — and it shouldn’t have to be that way.


I’ve seen how often people face barriers when trying to find information, resources, services, or support. I wanted to create something different: a place that helps people connect with information, resources, community, and opportunities.


Through my own lived experience — and over a decade of professional experience working with individuals navigating complex situations and systems — I’ve developed a deep understanding of community needs, barriers, resources, and the systems people often have to navigate.


Today, Marlene’s Community Connections brings that work together through free community information and resource sharing, consulting services, collaboration and partnership opportunities.


This work is also rooted in connection and collaboration. I work with individuals, professionals, community members, businesses, agencies, organizations, and other community partners to strengthen connections between people, resources, organizations, and systems.

What I Do

 

Through the Marlene’s Community Connections Instagram platform, I share free community information, resources, educational and awareness-focused content, as well as personal insights, while engaging with the community around topics that impact individuals, families, and communities.


MCC also offers paid Consulting Services for individuals who want individualized support exploring a specific situation, question, challenge, or goal. Consulting Services focus on providing information and exploring resources relevant to your circumstances.


Beyond individual consulting services, MCC works with individuals, businesses, organizations, agencies, and other community partners through collaborations, partnerships, contracted services, sponsorships, and community-focused projects.


Offering both free community resources and paid professional services helps MCC continue supporting community connection, engagement, and access in a sustainable way.
